		<description>For another edition of the Sculptural Objects &#38; Functional Art Fair, the video Pink Narcissus was prominently featured on a hanging 50' screen at Chicago's amazing Navy Pier.

The video 'wallpaper' OWP (Millefleurs) also adorned the cafe lounge area wall.

We love Chicago a lot.

-

High Rise, J.G. Ballard
The cluster of auditorium roofs, curving roadway embankments and rectilinear curtain walling formed an intriguing medley of geometries -- less a habitable architecture than the unconscious diagram of a mysterious psychic event.

-

 Invisible Cities (Cities &#38; The Sky #3), Italo Calvino
Those who arrive can see little of the city, beyond the plank fences, the sackcloth screens, the armatures, the catwalks, ladders, and trestles. If you ask "Why is the city's construction taking such a long time?" they answer "So that its destruction cannot begin."

And if asked whether they fear that, once the scaffoldings are removed, the city may begin to crumble and fall to pieces, they add hastily, "Not only the city."

"What meaning does your construction have? Where is the plan you are following, the blueprint?" Work stops at sunset. Darkness falls over the building site. The sky is filled with stars.
"There is the blueprint," they say.

		<description>
A single video image is expanded to create an elegiac visual music score, a false horizon described by a repeating fugue of horizontal motion. The patterned false-panorama evokes the relationship between cinema, landscape and memory.

"...the abrupt changes in view caused by a rushing train can seem like a form of film editing. From the window of a fast train, images of buildings multiply, simplify, and compress into montage-like sequences. The distant landscape flattens into something like a painterly panorama, a surface appreciated for its planar and linear outlines and not for its three-dimensional forms or palpable textures."

The Art Institute of Chicago licensed art for use on several design products and apparel items for sale in the museum shop of the Modern Wing.

Merchandise included ties, tees, vinyl totebags, notepads, umbrellas, silk scarves, mugs, magnets and other assorted souvenirs. The scarf was quite nice.

		<description>The Museum of Arts &#38; Design in NYC asked me to create a video environment for their FLUORESCENT BALL. Multiple projections and video monitors were utilized on three floors of the museum, transforming the party into a day-glo, Flavin-inspired 'electric ladyland', and the lobby windows into an efflorescent jellyfish aquarium.
